HI, and welcome to this demo website for Bawn. Bawn is Buyawebsitenow.com.au, specialising in low-cost DIY Content Management websites. On this website we will demonstrate some of the features that are built in to a Bawn DIY Content Management website, show you how the website is structured, and show you how easy it is to have a professional, great looking website in a very short time, and at a very modest cost.
So please take the time to read the detail on these pages, and when you are ready to buy, click on the "Buy Now !" link in the left panel. When you fill in the "Set Up My Website" form, you can select what pages you want initially on your website, and what the starting text is for each of those pages. We'll set your website up, and send you your login details so that you can start refining your content, adding photos, images and galleries etc.
The template is organised into a set of "Panels": top, left, right, footer, syndicate, and the panel in the centre is the main panel. Click on the small image to the right of this paragraph to see the template layout. The main panel displays the content for whatever page has been navigated to. This is the "Home Page" and the content for the main panel for the Home Page is contained in the content article titled "Home Page".
You can edit this article by logging on to the Backend (or Administrator area) of your website, and editing the Article titled "Home Page". You can include foreground and background images with your text. If you want to change the content of the content panel on the Features page, just edit the article titled "Features". Pretty simple isn't it?
This is the main panel. There are two panels to the left of this one. The top one of these two is the syndicate panel, and it is conventionally used to display menus, although you can position menus almost anywhere. In this demo website we have positioned a menu titled "Galleries" in the syndicate panel. This example website has two menus, the top (or main) menu, and the Galleries menu in the syndicate panel. You can create as many new menus as you want, and you can turn off whichever menus you don't want.
